The Bible...Necktie?

Okay, I suppose W.V. isn't classified as a truly southern state, and I'm sure it could not hold a candle in some regards to the deep south so endearingly referred to as The Bible Belt.  That's not to say there is an absence of good faith in these parts and rather, uh, enthusiastic preaching of the word.

Apparently at Hobby Lobby, Jesus loves me.  Well, according to this guy anyway:

Blowing for Team Jesus!

Now you can still be a good christian and a bad ass:

Don't forget to...

Your door?  I thought it was supposed to be your heart... ?

Look what I found next to the Circus Peanuts!

Mmmmm.....worship is delicious.  And tangy, apparently:

 ...I do now!  Thanks, W.V.

Sometimes...

...your armchair collection looks better outside...

...the ditch is a good place to toss tarps and old carpet...

...your backyard looks snazzy with some cardboard accents and car accessories...

...and your front porch is an ideal place to hang your mop.

Hello Old Friend

Recently I was granted the opportunity to escape the hills of Appalachia and indulge in a decidedly more urban environment.  I was hoping to document some mean street art but unfortunately my discoveries were few and far between.  This was probably because we were hoofing mostly through Chelsea and didn't have the opportunity to comb the streets of Brooklyn.

Here are a few gems that I did happen to stumble upon and would like to share:

Shepard Fairy

Space Invader!

So thrilled I spotted one of these!

Lego Limb...

Now this is a shopping cart treatment. H-town, take notes!

Love these little wheat paste fellas.

Bad Graffiti: Part I

pink version!

I actually kind of like this little armadillo door...

This one is not so bad if you can look past the dirty mattresses:

I find this one pretty amusing:
